Nowhere does this saying ring truer than on the beautiful Pongola River below Lake Jozini. Just 60km South of the Mozambique border the Pongola has a distinctly tropical feel, clear blue waters meander around white sandbanks and under ancient Sycamore Fig Trees. Visibility of over 2m allows you to watch the river bottom slip seamlessly by as you glide downstream on water as clear and smooth as molten glass. Lean back into the comfortable backrest, soak up the sun and marvel at the natural beauty that surrounds you as you float on by....

This action packed trip starts directly below the Jozini Dam Wall and includes 'shooting the wier', cliff jumping and several grade 1 rapids. Guides, coold drinks and transport to and from Jozini Tiger Lodge is included. Vehicles may be left at Tiger Lodge for the duration of the trip.

This trip starts with the conventional Half day Paddle and then eases into a more relaxed 12 km paddle down the Pongola river with lunch and drinks included. The trip ends at the Pongola River Camp where toilets and showers are available to freshen up before we return you to your vehicle in Jozini.

Once you have paddled 12 km from Jozini to our beautiful camp on the banks of the Pongola river the last thing you feel like doing is heading back to the hustle and bustle of every day life. Why not spend the night and enjoy some delicous camp fire cuisine. These trips are fully catered but here is a self catered optionas well..
For the nature lover and outdoor enthusiast! We have over 100km's of river to explore over 3 - 4 nights. The first night is in our permanent tented camp, for the rest of the trip we set up camp at suitable points along the river. These trips are fully catred and include all transport, gear and guides.
